"Well, we've been back on the road for two days now. Things were going awesome. We got to Cleveland, Ohio tonight to start the Artery Tour tomorrow night. We decided to find a movie theater to see the new Kev[i]n Spacey movie, 21."After the movie was over, we went out to our van and the driver side door's lock was busted. All of our personal belongings were stolen from us. All of the laptops, cell phones, phone chargers, ipods, ipod transmitter, books, money, cameras, backpacks, cash box, all of the band's money, briefcases, jackets, our GPS, and many other belongings were taken from us. ) Thefts at library concern Lowell officials
LOWELL -- The theft of a patron's iPod and laptop computer from the Pollard Memorial Library on Saturday morning may have touched off a political firestorm in the city.Police say a library patron was approached by an Hispanic male who reached behind him just before noon Saturday, grabbed his iPod and started to run out of the building. The victim chased him and at one point jumped over a balcony railing, injuring his ankle. The suspect got away.
But that wasn't the end of the man's ordeal.
"While all this was going on, another male, also believed to be Hispanic, ran off with the guy's laptop," said Lowell Police Capt. Jonathan Webb, who said an investigation is under way.
Webb said he is not sure if the person who stole the iPod and the person who stole the laptop knew each other. More>>

) Apple v. The Big Apple
Apple Inc. says The Big Apple is worming into its territory with a logo the city is using for its green living campaign. Apple on Friday renewed its challenge to a trademark registration application that New York City filed last May, saying the apple logo was too similar to its own. Both logos depict a plump apple with a leaf. Apple's logo is white, with its signature bite mark, while New York City's proposed trademark is a green, figure-eight outline reminiscent of an infinity sign, with a stem, and the word ``greeNYC'' under it. Apple's challenge, filed in January with the federal Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, says the company will be ``damaged'' if the trademark is granted.
